What brought you to Mohawk College?

I am not a fan of a big city life, so Toronto college were never meant to fit my preferences. I visited Hamilton and Mohawk College in 2018 and really liked the nature in the city and the College itself. I researched the programs and really liked the Insurance program, so I applied to Mohawk College as an Ukrainian international student.

Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?

My experience in Mohawk College was amazing! The professors are really caring and professionals in the insurance field. I learned a lot during my classes. Moreover, I truly liked all the events organized for students. For example, me and my classmates went to Blue Mountain for a ski day - it was such a great way to start exploring what Ontario had to offer.

What impact has Mohawk had on your life?

I found a job during a job fair for insurance students three months before graduation. It made me feel safe about my future. Also, I found two great friends in the College who are still a big part of my life!

What are you up to now?

I am a working professional in the Insurance industry and I am improving my knowledge every day. Thanks to a great foundation the Mohawk College provided I now have fundamental knowledge to go on in my life.
