What brought you to Mohawk College?

Being born and raised in Hamilton, I really wanted the full experience of attending my hometown College. As well the Rec & Leisure fast track program offered really drew me in.

Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?

My favourite Mohawk experience was going away for a retreat at Tim Hortons Camp. As well as hanging out in the Arnie with my classmates. But ultimately meeting everyone from my class was the best experience, we had so much fun together and we made some of the best memories in class and outside of class.

What impact has Mohawk had on your life?

Mohawk has given me some of the best memories of my life. Mohawk has also helped shape me into the person I am today, with the help of group projects, and tons of presentations, I gained more self confidence. I also had the pleasure to work at Mohawk in various departments for 6 years, working here was the best jobs I ever had and I will forever cherish everyone I met along the way.

What are you up to now?

These days I am working at another College in the area where I live (I’m too far from Hamilton). And enjoying my days being a Mom to my daughter!
