What brought you to Mohawk College?
I needed a career change as an adult student and Mohawk had the best selection of programs for what I wanted to do.
Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?
My favourite experience at Mohawk was having the opportunity to have on-the-job training at the end of my program. It enabled me to make connections and I got hired the day after classes ended.
What impact has Mohawk had on your life?
Mohawk has impacted my life by giving me a diploma that translates into real jobs. It has given me a job with purpose that I love going to every day.
What are you up to now?
I just celebrated my 10 year anniversary working at McMaster University as a medical secretary. I’m exactly where I want to be in my career all thanks to Mohawk's amazing program.
