What brought you to Mohawk College?
I was a student at St. Thomas more high school in Hamilton. When I was deciding where to go for school, I wanted to stay close to home, and I didn’t want the commitment of a university program, because I was unsure of my career path at the time.
Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?
I was a very anxious person, and my favourite experience was having my classmates come up to me, and slowly create relationships with me. This allowed me to get out of my shell, and build connections with all of my classmates.
What impact has Mohawk had on your life?
Continuing from that point, I believe that this experience completely changed the way I view making connections both in work and life. I’m no longer shy and anxious when it comes to talking to people or being out in public. I’m quite the opposite actually, which has made a big impact on my career.
What are you up to now?
I currently own a social media marketing business, and have over 10 clients. I’m focusing more on real estate marketing, which is an incredible experience with so much room for growth.
